“Will I feel comfortable with these people?"

We'll blend you into games with players who can adapt to give you the confidence to enjoy yourself.

"I'm coming on my own."

That's absolutely fine. You won't stay on your own for very long. We'll introduce you, get you involved and help you find people you'll enjoy playing with.

“I'm worried I won't be good enough and I'll spoil the game for everyone else. Everyone will be better than me."

Some will. Some won't. It doesn't matter. Frenz players regularly mix abilities, and experienced players know how to adapt a game so everybody can enjoy it.

"I haven't played sport for years."

Okay. Nobody is measuring where you start or end. Play for as long as you're comfortable and develop at your own pace.

"I'm too old."

Our players span generations and frenz will probably have players older than you. Age isn't how we define who plays or how to play.

"I'm not very fit."

Pickleball can be one of the ways you become more active. Make it the fun part of your healthier lifestyle.

"I've got a disability or mobility issue."

We adapt the game to the player rather than expecting the player to adapt to the game. Hazel Court's Mobility Pickleball is perhaps the clearest example, alongside the VI and wheelchair work.

"What if I make a fool of myself?"

You probably will occasionally, that's part of playing. Enjoy the moment, we’ve all been there… and will be back soon.
