About Frenz
Real people.
Real Frenz.
A volunteer-led community that believes pickleball should be affordable, inclusive and enjoyable.
Who we are
People before polish.
Frenz grew through people sharing courts, equipment, encouragement and a slightly quirky sense of humour. Any profit helps create more opportunities to play.
The Frenz story
More when you want it.
History
Frenz began with a simple idea: pickleball could be about the people you play with, not just the games you win.
We wanted an alternative to the traditional club model where competition, rankings and fixed partnerships can become the focus. At Frenz, players mix, partnerships change and the shared experience matters as much as the score.
That doesn’t mean we don’t compete — we do. But competition sits within the community rather than defining it. You can want to improve, enjoy a close game or play to win without losing the laughter, encouragement and connection that brought people together in the first place.
From that idea, Frenz developed welcoming local sessions across Swansea, Llanelli and Carmarthenshire, with the same principle at their heart: make it easy for people to participate, play with different people and enjoy pickleball together.
Our Team
All the invaluable people here are volunteers who have taken their own time to learn how to help players enjoy pickleball safely and build confidence.
